HELP, column lock problems (still)
The car is a 97. I fried a PCM and installed a new one, along with a new battery. The car ran great, but I had installed a 6spd PCM (unknowingly) so it was in default (2nd gear only) but it still ran and drove fine. I pulled the PCM out, had it flashed to auto, and then the column issues started. Now the car will start and run fine, and the column itself IS NOT LOCKED, but if I put the car in gear and go over about 1mph it will die. I installed a CLB hoping to solve the problem, but no such luck. I've also tried the "unplug BCM for xamount of hours and plug it back in" no luck there either.
Please help, I just want to drive my Vette.... Also anyone around DFW that could help me out, I have no problem paying you for your time.
