Holy crap, you have everything, actually more, id do if i could. Id basically want a z06 engine(heads and cam) maybe port the heads, lt's, o/r x, borla stingers, ported ls6 intake, ls2 ported tb. Thats awesome power. I know even in an auto she rolls. I wanna take mine to the track to get a baseline. If i can do 13.5 ill be very happy. I think if i had all that, i may be satisfied with my auto lol. I miss driving stick, i just hate replacing a clutch.

My plan was to just do everything once. I researched all the mods that I thought I'd want to do, gathered up parts for over a year (searching for bargains along the way) and then took it all to my tuner at one time. He had no problems with this as he had zero out of pocket on parts (except basics like gaskets, fluids, etc) and he was just able to do the work and make some big labor money. Looking at your mods, you've just gotten started. To make some big HP on these cars, you have to spend some $$. Full mods like mine are cool but expensive. If I could do it over, I might just have done a supercharger. I might end up still adding one but with what I've already done, I couldn't run much boost due to the fact that I don't have forged internals. Still running stock bottom end (crank, rods, pistons). However, stock bottom end on a C5 will handle 700rwhp. More than that and you're pushing it too hard.

That's still a lot of power to hold on a stock bottom end, nothing wrong with that. Id be happy with Z06 power honestly. The cars already fun to drive, and even for its age, its surprisingly quick. I'm getting that itch to have fun with it but being an auto it deturs me. I know it shouldn't but I prefer a 6 spd. I miss shifting gears and the control it gives. Even though I hate having to replace a clutch.

Well, I listed her for sale. I'm still going to do the work we have been talking about either way. If she doesn't sell, no big deal. I still love the car, I just figured it may be worth a try. I haven't had a chance to start wrenching yet. My day off hasn't gone the way I planned lol. I did go out there and clean her up though.

I have a 99 C-5 and the owners' manual gave great instructions on setting the passive unlock system. I played with it like a little kid with a new toy (just purchased my Blue Beauty begining of the month). I had to kill the horn beep at unlock due to 4:30am departures for work in the mornings (nice firefighter lives next door). So I played with the system. It doesn't unlock unless I press the button on the FOB. And it does so with the lights staying on (approach lights I believe they call it).

Nah, that "Lazy hose humper" works nights. Out of respect for that, I never do anything out in the driveway that might involve "ANY NOISE" until after noon time. Which still leaves me quite a bit of leeway for 'playing'.
