Code B2723 Car wont start
I know it has to be the cylinder lock. I backed my c5 into the garage last night and everything was fine. Then went to put the key in the ignition this morning and the key wouldn't fit into the ignition at all. I had to check and double check to make sure I had the right key. I kept wiggling the key and finally got it in half way. then after a few more tries I got the key all the way in and tried to start and nothing at all. I have to get it to the dealership to have it checked and fixed but I don't want to have it towed. My question is: Is there any possible way to get this car started so I can just drive to the dealership? My car is so low i'm afraid towing it will screw up something on the body.

You would have had a LOT faster and good response if you posted in C5 TECH...

Sorry for posting in wrong part of forum. I'm not good at navigating the forum yet. Thanks for steering me in the right direction. I had a friend of mine tow me to the dealership. $493 later I am up and running. It was the Key cylinder lock ... But now after I get home and its dark I notice that my Dual climate control backlights for all my ***** control are out!! I can still read the temp and the lights come on when you press a/c and other buttons. But no backlights. I had this sent off and completely redone about 8 months ago. worked perfectly before I took it to the dealership. I will call them tomorrow.
