Tuning Parameters
I am getting ready to take my car to get it tuned, is there a list of must do's besides engine management to ask the tuner to do? Example, adjust temp the fans kick on delete air pump, etc.?

Before tuning any vehicle a tuner should always
1. Compression test
2. Boost leak test / pressure test the intake system
3. Verify the timing at the crankshaft
There should also be an inspection period. Wiggle connectors, test the battery and alternator, clean up dirt and wipe down hoses and objects which move like the throttle body components and clutch slave and trans likage and so forth.
A good tuner is also a good mechanic
