As a web developer and ecommerce business owner, I would like to check interest in an idea that I have been considering for some time.
With the aftermarket parts market being in such high demand and parts available from so many vendors, we would like to introduce a price resource guide. Those of you familiar with pricewatch.com will understand the technology we would utilize.
We are looking for public as well as vendor interest. The service would be offered to all customers free of charge and the vendors would be able to list their items at a cost to be determined.
Would there be enough interest to develop a project of this type? Would there be enough vendors willing to list their products to simplify the buying process and be able to get the best price? Maybe corvetteforum like to participate in this project?
:lurk: I think this is a valuable and well thought-out idea but it seems that most of the members here have vendors they use, almost exclusively and we might not want to start price wars; They seem to just **** people off. Just my .02.
