Default Does this car need to get fixed?

Driving and noticed the check engine light on the dash but not on the HUD or DIC. It remains on even after restart. Checked the codes and got these all current...

U1064 Loss of Communications with DCM
U1016 Loss of Communications with PCM
U1096 Loss of Communications with IPC
P0410 AIR System-B
B2605 Seat Front Vert Position Sensor Failure

Is this serious stuff?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Eject! Eject!
Just kidding. I have a code list at home, If I remember correctly this is nothing serious and they should reset on their own. If no one responds, I will get back to you tonight.

I recommend resetting all of the codes. There is nothing that i see that is safety related of C5 destroying!

The loss of Comms is common and may only indicate that you have a weak battery. You also need to look at the letter code after the code it self. There will be a "H" for history or a "C" indicating that it is currently happening. The currently occuring codes are the ones that you need to track down and repair. The history cores will clear them selves after a certain number of ignition cycles if the problem does not occur again.

Please let us know if any are current (looks like one of them are if the CHECK ENGINE lighjt is staying on.

Once we figure out what is current we can start troubleshooting from there.

All were "H" codes, the weak battery seems right since I just installed a new one. I reset all the codes and no more "Check Engine" light. Thanks!

Thats good to hear.

Just for your info, the P0410 code is what caused your check engine light to come on, don't worry about the "loss of communication" codes ...that is unless they are current and you are unable to reset them.
