How many of you have lowered your car and not aligned it afterward and how critical is it if I say drop 1''?
After lowering your car, the Camber settings will be WHACK! If you don't mind buying new tires (often) for wear on the inside of the tread than leave it alone.
When I lowered my car, the front went to -3 degrees of camber
But I would perform an alignment if I were you.....

My current car was out on one side just outside of the margin...took about 15 minutes to fix..they put it under the lifetime alignment package I bought for the white one...they were too stupid to notice that I changed cars.

I lowered mine, and got the alignment, better to be safe then sorry, tires cost a lot
I lowered mine some time ago and can say that it will most likely have an effect on your alignment. I did not perform one and the inside of my tires are almost down to the cords! Good thing I have a new set of GS-D3's on the way.
I will definately be getting an alignment once I have the new rubber installed. Is there anything special or a recommended spec that I should have the car aligned to, or just go with the recommended factory settings?
i lowered mine on stock bolts, and have had no problems without an alignment! my tread wear is even, on all 4 tires too. but everyone has different results. i wanted to get mine done, but lowered the car 2 days before i drove 1500 miles to CT from FL. the local shops i went to wouldnt touch the car because it was lowered i was lucky that i didnt have any problems, because the 4000 mile trip to CT and back would have cost me a new set of tires!!
im lowering mine even more soon, and will def. find a place to do the alingment! not taking any more chances, since my tires are brand new!
