98 tranny leak

Need Info About A Leak On My 98 6sp. It's Leaking Where The Transmission Hooks-up To The Rear-end. I'am Looking For Solutions,service Bulletins, Recalls Etc. She Only Got 13,000 Mi On It. Any Help Would Be Great. Thanks

Have you been able to determine if it's the transmission or differential that is leaking?

I just replaced both of these seals they are the same. I do know for a fact that they came out with a different p/n recently weather or not its better who knows. I know this because one seal I had ordered in advance then I found when I got into the project that I needed the one for the tranny also and that was a different P/N.

I just had a tranny leak fixed under extended warranty on my '99 MN6 coupe. Under the warranty guidelines, there are actually three seals that are replaced, one of which is the input shaft seal. I would check into this, especially if you can't be positive about where the leak is coming from.
