Default question about a vararam

do you have to buy the aftermarket cold air screens for the fog lite area in order to use this product or does it come with the vararam. Just plan on buying the vararam and I didnt want to spend the money on the cold air screens if I didnt have to

If you're talking about the Z06 style metal mesh screens that install over the foglight area, you must buy them separately. They are not included with the Vararam.

Personally, I'm buying the Z06 style screens for the front vents when I get my vararam, it will help cut down on any debris getting in and dirtying up the filter.

There are some places that do vette aftermarket (midamerican, ecklers, wwc, corvettecentral) where you can buy them to match the color of your car. That's what I'll do.

Gunny.... The Vararam comes with the LS-1 "stock-like" scoops integrated into their system, thus there is no need to also buy/install cold-air scoops.

You can install the outer Z06 screens if you choose but it`s not required and comes down to personal taste.

The Vararam comes with everything from the foglight surrounds up to the MAF. They give you new foglight surrounds that are direct replecements for the ones alreay in your car. SO you have to remove the existing surrounds, and replace them with the new ones that are supplied with the VR. Your foglights will attach directly to the new surrounds.
