Check Engine Light
Due to my problem with my turn signals my emergency flashers decided to start working in the middle of the night. I woke up and my battery was dead and the check engine light is now on. Is there any way to reset this to get the light to go off without having to take it to a dealership?

Clear all stored codes. The light should be off the next time you start the engine.
I have to say though, that the root cause sounds like a bad battery.
