I have The Vinnci programer and like it alot. I was able to adjust timing, shift firmness and shift points, adjust idle for cam and calibrate for my gear change.
What is the best power programmer(hypertech,etc...) for a stock 2000 C5?
Hand held programmers are a rip off big time IMO. For just a little more $ you can get your own PCM license from LS1Edit or HT Tuners and have real tuning capabilities. But, I suppose if you plan to stick with entry level mods (minor bolt ons) + find a hand held on Ebay for cheap, then that is your call. Hand helds are very, very limited as to what they can do, or, they are a real PITA to use because you have to keep bugging the manufacture to make more changes (ie- Predator).

I've got a Vinci, great entry level tool, can't mess up your car. Also can't see sh*t. Soon to be F/S.
