Check Engine Light Just Came On!!
The Service Engine Soon text came up on the display and a few minutes later the Check Engine light came on. I have 71,680 miles on my 98 vette that I just bought. I'm scared. Anything I can do?
I just checked the codes via:
http://www.stengel.net/diccodes.htm
All the codes that popped up ended in H??
Also the oil life on the display says 48%.

Why don't you list the codes that popped up?
Are you sure none showed a suffix of "HC"?
Has the check engine light stayed on?
