Default I need my Cat replaced

Bad news from Austin Corvette. I have a Borla single split rear exit exhaust. My Cat has gone south on me. They say the GM part is about $1000. Is there a good after-market alternitive that is less expensive? I plan on doing a Triflow system in the future so this new cat should be compatible with the Triflow. Thanks for any information.

One, you have two cats, there are many after market high flow cats available for way less than $1000. How many miles on your car, by law there is an extended warranty on any part of your emission system.

if you just need cats you should go with random technology's cats for about $400 total. Upgrading your exhaust manifold with some long tube headers and high flow cats is also a nice idea if you want to spend a little more. good luck

I have stock cats which I do not use anymore. I am willing to part with them- make me a reasonable offer and they are yours.

First of all your cats are under warranty for so many thousands of miles.. if it is not covered, Magnaflow sells high flow cats for about $110 delivered.

The cats are part of the H-pipe, and I've seen these sell dirt cheap. Check the parts forum.
