Default catch can question

i dont understand?
on a 99 na c5 ls1 modified with a ls6 valley cover, a catch can and pvc mod.
if you have 2 lines,
1 from the valve cover to the tb.
and the other from the ls6 valley cover thru x ft of hose, a catch can, more hose and pcv valve to the tb, its natural that the flow will follow the path of least resistance, thus most of the flow is not going thru the catch can? (with both the valley cover and valve cover being the same positive pressure, basiclly originating from leakage past the rings in the crankcase not in the valve covers). is 1 of the inlets on the tb full vac and the other regulated from the throttle blade?
can i run both vents, rocker cover and valley cover to 1 catch can and then back into the tb? to the pcv valve or the vent on the tb?
thanks,
don

When I installed the catch can I thought the same thing and I teed the lines so both run through the catch can. It works fine.
I do get a mixture of oil and water in the catch can, I was wondering about that. Anyone have any ideas?

I'll explain this best I can. When doing the LS6 PCV mod, drivers side PCV vent must be blocked as well as the pass side rear. Pass side front is for the PCV intake (takes fresh air from the air intake to PCV system).

The LS6 PCV mod takes the oil vapers from the lifter valley rather than valve covers. I have done this mod and I do get considerable oil in my catch can that I drain every month.

ragtop. so...
the front tube pass cover will stay connected to the angled pipe on the tb, the pcv outlets on the covers both get plugged and the valley goes to the can and then to the pcv and tb?

wait, i looked again and the front tube has the cap on it. i must be slow tonite, 1 more time please?

editted; ok how about capping off the 2 rear vents on the valve covers, and go from the ls6 valley cover to the can/pcv/tb and leaving the front on the pass valve cover to the tb because its filtered air into the system and if it should over pressurize it will go back out thru there instead of blowing the dipstick out.?

why is there a red plug on the front vent in your pic?

That picture was without the intake. Here is a better picture. And you're correct that pass side front tube receive the filtered air from air intake. Here is the order:

Air from intake>into:pass side valve cover>into:engine>oil vapors from valley cover>into:PCV valve>into:PCV catch can>into:vacuum side of the intake manifold.

your wording is wrong, imo
from the valley to the can to the pcv to the tb, imo
