Default 1ST time dyno

Well its about time i did this, heres what i got 385.8 Engine HP with 335.5 to the wheels and 345.1 Torque. A/F was way to lean at 14 so i made this ajustment today and now show be at 13.3 and also increased the timing by 1 degrees so ill give it a few days to let the computer adjust, i did put back the stock MAF sensor housing as well. So over all im a happy camper

i'd thought the standard conversion from rwhp to crank hp was 15% drivetrain loss for a MN6. if you're getting 335.5hp at the wheels, shouldn't it equate to around 394hp at the crank?

please correct me if i'm wrong, i've never done a dyno test before and all i know is what i've read so far on the forum. i will be heading to VetteDoctors in 2 wks for a LS1 Edit & testing so any clarification/tips would be very helpful.

thanks.

Please don't tell us these #'s are for a basically "bone stock" C5. If it is, here we go again.

That depends. Was the correction factor SAE or STD? Assuming it is SAE, then I would say that the MN6 is contributing a 12-14% loss, not 15, based upon my observations. This would mean that you have between 381 - 390 HP at the crank.

These are basically the same numbers I pulled with an LS6 intake/ Shaner Tbody/ LGM Headers/ SLP 3inch Cats/ and a full 3 inch exhaust back to Borla Stingers... my torque was up to 353 at the max...

What amazes me is when I tell non-C5 owners what my car turned, they go "Is that all?"

I really need my heads/ cam motor done!

Sorry dont know what the stock timing was, however i have the predator tune which i changed the timing to +1 degree and get 3 on the KR at WOT so i will be taking it down to 0 and see how that works out, zero being predator tune which is advance, but how much i dont know. next i think rockers this i can do myself as well
