Default Battery charger/tender

I have a 99 C5 that I drive only a few times every couple of months. I've never been able to keep the battery charged. I know its a known problem due to the computer/security system drain on the battery and a battery tender is a good idea.

I was curious as to what people use for chargers or tenders? Currently the battery is 100% dead so I need to charge it first.

Anyone heard of this tender/charger?

Will any of these recharge a dead battery? I'm sick of asking friends to come over to help me push my vette out of the garage

I had the same problem, (I kept jumper cables in car just incase) you'll want to replace your battery, and then keep it charged up. It's not worth the risk to use the old battery and having to worry if it’s going to start. Now I have a new battery, I keep it charged and I don’t carry jumper cables.

Man, just go get a battery tender, you won't regret it. With the tender you will never need a battery charger again and your battery will last much longer, I have been using the one on my hot rod Silverado for over 5 years. Also have one for my hot rod Roadster and my Z06 and have never been let down.

Yep, that's the one I use.
Looks like it isn't on sale anymore, I picked a few for $5.95 during a local sale. Keep an eye out for 'em to go on sale again

Other chargers may be fine but I would recommend a
VDC electronics Battery Minder or a Deltran Battery
tender plus. You can put either of these on a battery
and forget about it with no fear of battery damage`
