Default What will a cross pipe do for proformance on C5?

I have a 01 conv mn6 and I have purchased a Corsa cross pipe. I don't plan on upgrading the headers until my warrenty runs out next year. Is it worth it to install the crosspipe now and what are the potential improvements?

I put a Corsa X-pipe on my 97 just for the fact the stock welds broke on the flanges. It was to hard to weld under the car and I was not going to take the whole exaust systme out to do it.

Back to your question; I have a x pipe and B&B PRT's. It did nothing for HP but it sure sounds good.

If you want a better sound go for it. If you want HP save for a SC or Heads/cam.

Most manufacturers claim anywhere from 4-8 horsepower gains from the X pipe.
