Did you do this yet? I was told a small scewdriver is the way to go. Since the new seal is rubber coated do not put any type of sealer on it when you put it in the diff.

Yes, I've already completed the install of the Yank 3500, TransGo and 3.42 diff. I used a small screwdriver on the TC seal, but was questioning my method... found a seal puller for $10 at the local parts store that is basically a specialty prybar, which worked quite well.
