Help My Car Lost All Power
i lost all power then jumped the car, then i turned it off and went to turn it on again and the thing wouldnt start all the power was gone again. i tried to jump it again and it wouldnt work......it seems as if it may be the alternator???

check voltage once you jump it and see what it's reading, let the alternator charge it for a bit before you shut it off. Then see if it works. If not and its a pretty new battery try to charge it up or take it back

I had a problem much like this 2 weeks ago on a new Optima Battery, turned out to be a loose ground wire. Sometimes you have enough connection to turn over the started but once it archs it can tarnish the connection point and no longer make good contact to the grounding surface.

It could also be corroded battery cables. take both of them off the battery and clean them with battery cleaner.
