Default Door Control Module and Temp ??

Occasionally my driver’s side door will not lock when I push the button on my remote or on the door. The only way to lock/unlock it is with my key or pushing the lock on the inside.

It's my understanding that this is due to a faulty door control module. Over the last few weeks, I've started to notice that it happens a lot more often when it is very cold out, close to or below freezing, but it clears up as soon as the temp goes back up.

Has anyone else noticed this, or could anyone explain why that would happen?

Also, does anyone know the part # and how to replace it? I could get it fixed under warranty, but if it's not to expensive, I'd rather do it myself.

If you have a warranty get it fixed under warranty. The module is in the door, the part list for 244.25. Requires removing the door panel and replacing the module. There is a module in each door. This is a common problem
