You hold down the active handling button for five seconds to activate competitive driving mode. I believe it turns off traction control, but active handling stays activated.

In Competitive Driving mode, you are allowed to spin the rear tires in a straight line. It monitors your rate of turn with the steering wheel angle and if it thinks the car is rotating too fast or too slow, it will apply individual brakes on one wheel to try to get the rotation to match up with the steering input. It works pretty well.

I've enjoyed the competitive driving mode the few times I've tried it. Let's the wheels slip just enough... (esp. when you want to come off the line or let the tires slip a bit around a corner...

this car is way to much fun

i now know the full and true meaning of permagrin!!!
these things are meant to be driven...flat out..amazing!!!
i cant stop smiling...

thanks for the input gang...you guys a great!!

here's a question for you all...when lining up with somebody...which mode or combinations should be used..best overall results..traction..acceleration...etc...
i did try the traction control off and nailed it from a dead stop...tires just spun..and spun...then it started to grab and accelerate (boy did it) hehehe ....then it shifted up (its an auto) and the tires broke loose pretty good and the back pitched a bit..not really bad..controllable...
is there a correct combo for draggin these little rockets???
BTW...im ear to ear right now....
