Default Paging A4 guys that have broken drivetrain components

How many of you A4 guys have broken diffs, non hardened shafts etc?

If you did break what tire were you running, how hard were you hooking (60 feet) and what are your ET/mph looking like?

I am wondering if a brace is necessary in my application? (Will probably be in the mid 12s or so)

99 A4
2.73 gears
runflats
TCI3000 stall
Z06 catback
Stinger intake
tuning, 160 stat etc

Autos won't break parts without throwing some serious torque, atleast alot more than what mods you have done so I'm pretty sure your safe.

Also, I have not broken anything yet with my setup and my best 60' time is 1.71 running BFG drag radials.

Yank SS4000 and ECS 3.73 rear. My 60's are usually in the low 1.5's, with 26" E.T. streets, haven't broken any hard parts yet. You don't need a brace.

Should be fine,
Both my 00's do not have those upgrade mods & the vert is putting down 1.72 60's.The 00' coupe has 40K+ hard miles and doin fine
The 97' has a little more work done to it but no brace.......1.52 60's with 7K+ hard miles & 50+ passes
