Default Anyone install gauge bezel

I would like to install the gauge bezel kit but would like some input on this matter before I destroy my dash.

I haven't done it but these look to be pretty good instructions.

Somewhat time consuming but not hard. Be careful and DO NOT get any glue on the inside of the clear plastic window covering the gauges. Use the glue very sparingly. Good luck .

I did it using the Vette Essentials instructions. Like mentioned above, it's somewhat time consuming but not very difficult.

Just take your time....No rush.
I used latex gloves when gluing the aluminium bezels and handling the clear plastic lens cover just to reduce the possibility of leaving fingerprints.
Also, I used one of those compressed air cans to spray away any dust just before I snapped the lens back into place...Dust sucks...

Make sure that you wear gloves. It you leave the smallest print on the inside of the panel it will show up later. The fumes from the glue make the prints turn a nice pretty white...TRUST ME

Yup, latest set on my 03 Z. I've done 5 sets so far and it really is easy if you read and follow the instructions. I used VE's on-line tutorial.

Take a look at what you'll end up with.

Having a buddy and a very clean area to work in is helpful, as is a can of compressed air to blow away any dust ot lint from the cluster face and the inside of the lens.

Good luck

Tom

My set came in last week. I will attempt the install when the weather gets a bit better. Just looking at the photos when the dash is all apart, gives me the chills.
