Default Rear rotor question

I'm putting new rotors on the fronts and rears well the fronts are done, and I'm having a problem getting the rears off,I took the bolt off the end of the axle and unhooked the parking brake cable, the rotor doesn't want to come off, do I have to remove the two torx screws from the backside to get the rotor off ? You do Not take off the axle nut!!! It has nothing what so ever to do with the rotors... the rotors are held in place by the lug nuts, just like the fronts...
You remove the wheels, caliper and caliper bracket, disengage the ebrake handle and that's it... some rotors are rusted on at the Hub boss.. there was no need to remove the ebrake cable.. a small amout of Cruel or WD-40 around the hub boss, and a 3 pound brass hammer will break loose the rust.. they will come off, you just need to be agressive..when you put the new rotors on, make sure you adjust the shoes properly to the new rotor drum...

There at 2 large bolts (21 or 22mm) on the caliper brackets that need to come off, remove the entire caliper assy, then the rotors will come off. If they still don't come off then you need to pull up and let down the e-brake handle a few times. Also some wood on the back of the rotor with a hammer. try that on each side.

The parking brake assy (shoes) like to get stuck on the rotor too.

Put the axle nuts back on an torque to about 120 ft lbs. Do not remove the torx screws. Just make sure there are no small steel stamping type retainers on the lugs holding the rotor on. If you do have them you can spin them off with a socket and throw them away. (Used for factory line assembly to keep the rotors from falling on somebody's head). After that any problems are cause by the parking brake shoe on the inside back of the rotors. As mentioned above hook the parking brake cable back up and work the parking brake up and down. There is nothing else holding the rotors on so just work them until they pull away from the parking brake shoes.
