Default 2004 C5 Exhaust

I have a 2004 C5 6spd. with a stock exhaust system. I'm looking to upgrade my exhaust system with a BORLA or a CORSA system. Which one is better in sound and performance and is legal for the California Smog Laws. Also, is there another brand worth checking out. I would like to here from you if you have changed to a different system other than the factory system.

Do a search on phrase:

GHL Magnaflow Corsa Borla exhaust

and look at the voluminous dissertations on aftermarket exhaust(s); it's all a matter of opinion, best way is to go to Vette show, listen in person. For what it's worth, I went with GHL Bullets.

Good luck

Word to the wise. These guys will not be able to help you (no disrespect intended). It will come down to you seeing and hearing all the choices and making you own decision. It's a tough choice. There are alot of good products out there. Decide what you want (exotic or 60's muscle car), how much you want to spend, and go for it.

If yuo haven't already take a listen to these;

Best thing to do is see if you can find some Vette owners in your area to listen to the different systems in person, but this can give you a start.

Good input in the previous replies. You might also consider B&B.

No catback will cause you any problems with CA smog inspection. FWIW, I have Corsas and Magnaflow X-pipe on my 2004.
