How do I by-pass the airbag system?
Need help, I want to install an aftermarket steeringwheel that does not include an airbag. How do I get the computer to overlook this condition. I'm sure I could just ignore the light just looking for the betterway! Thanks

bypass
i bypassed mine in my s10 by pulling the cluster and putting a piece of electrical tape under the guage face over the light
dont know if there is any other way to do it but im sure its just a matter of grounding the plug that hooks to it (dont take my word -grounding the plug could in fact trigger the air bag system)
but the electrical tape under the guage face is safe and works
while your doing that get a silver paint pen or sharpee and paint the guage bezels they look just like the billet ones and they cost nothing but your time and a dollar for the pen
