Seat removal
I'm going to remove the seats on my 02 convt.How easy do they come out and is there anything I should know before I begin?I don't want to destroy anything while doing it.Thanks for you're time.

You'll need a flathead screwdriver to remove the plastic covers on the front of the tracks. Pop out the center of the tabs, then pull the covers foward. Then remove the 4 bolts(13 or 15mm?) holding the tracks onto the floor. Before lifting up the seat all the way, disconnect the power seat harness.
Having the top down will make removing the the seats much easier.

Seat Removal
Very easy. The hardest part is the power seat plug!
Remove black plastic covers on the front of the seat tracks first. There is a small 'sort of rivet-like' plastic retainer - pull out the center pin, then slide the plastic cover forward and they're off.
Undo the four 14mm (I think - I'm at work) nuts at the four corners.
Undo the power sat connector.
Carefully, so you don't scratch the door jam or sill, remove the seat.
You're done.

Make the job safe and have someone lean from the passengers side and guide them out! It is way too easy for the seat tracks to nick, tear, marr or scratch something!! Been there!! \
