Default dimming electrical system

now i know the vette has its share of electrical problems so im not at all surprised by what has been happening. beginning of january my stock delco battery went dead so i replaced it with a higher cca one from delco as well. ever since doing so though, i noticed a pattern of "surging" in the car's electrical system. when the car is on, the lights (dashboard, radio, clock, climate, HEADLIGHTS) all show this flickering. anybody know what the problem is? fuses? cant imagine the extra cca is detrimental. alternator? i need to get this fixed cuz if i dont, im not gonna take the chance on reliability. thanks

Do you mean constant voltage fluctuation or a random intermittent drop in voltage?

Check the tightness of your battery cables. Mine were loose and tighthening them solved this.

A word of caution if you don't have a AGM Battery, over torquing battery cables is the #1 cause of leaking batteries.

Mine has done this for the last 2 1/2 years, before and after high wattage H4 headlights, and before and after installing a gel battery. Most of the important grounds are clean, the battery cables are tight, and I don't have pulleys. The car doesn't throw codes, the headlights are bright when I rev it, and it has enough power for the ~100 watt lights and a laptop, so I'm not worried about it.
