I had a 98 and I have a 2002 Z06. Are you sure you cant use LS1 Edit??? You might want to check on the Scan and Tune Forum.

You can have some or all of the following Modules on your 97:

1- Power Train Control Module (PCM), Located in the pasengers fender well and accessed by removing the tire and removing the access plate on the plastic fender well.

2- Throttle Acutation Control Module (TAC) Located in the pasengers fender well and accessed by removing the tire and removing the access plate on the plastic fender well. It will be mounted on the PCM.

3- Body Control Module (BCM) Located in the passengers foot well behind the Toe Board (Big silver Box to the left of the fuse box.) This computer DOES NOT like water or moisture!!!

4- Remote Function Actuation Module (RFA) It's in the rear trunk area on the drivers side just aft of the speaker. It controls the recirvers and transmitters of the FOB's and Tire Pressure Sensors.

5- Left and Right Door Control Modules. (LDCM / RDCM) In each door respectively. Controls the door functions.

I have pictures of most all of these modules. If you would like them, send me an e-mail address.

If you need to clean your grounds, Check out my post (Important Electrical Information) Just do a title search.
