Default Lowering car help

Hey i know this issue has been beat like a dead horse... but i need to have pix of how to lower a 98 coupe. I want to cut the bushings at the end, but when i tried it a while ago there was one bolt that was so huge i couldnt find a nut to get it out so i stopped there and gave up and put the shocks back on and all that. Can i get a list of the stuff that i need for this process? If anyone wants to help me in florida, kissimmee area that knows how to do it that would be great too! OH and i have the rear bolts and i dont know how to get that one yet. So thanx

i think you will find some helpful info on one of these sites. I really appreciate these guys taking the time to document and host all of this usefull information. Good luck. From my experience, just lower it some, not all the way. My radiator support has been damaged to the point that my airbridge is rubbing into the hood and the bottom of my car has all sorts of 'war scars' from being lowered. Also, i assume you drag race since you have DRs mentioned in your sig. lowering the car will worsen weight transfer and increase the likely hood of damaging wheelhop. Just some things to ponder. I love the way mine looks lowered, but i plan to raise it back up some very soon.

oh yea, i couldnt care less about "beating a dead horse". It personally aggravates me when someone has a question and everybody starts moaning and complaining because someone did'nt search. If you dont want to reply, then dont? If you want to return the favor that has likely been given to you in the past and share info, great, thats what the forum is for. Hope those links help.

That is why I started my tech page, to share, and well maybe so I don't have to look it up again in the future.
