Was there a bulletin released on how to fix the clogged A/C drain? Does anybody have a copy of it? I did a search on A/C Drain and airconditioning but couldn't find anything.

There is a post on the forum somewhere that has pictures of the location of the drain and how to clean it.
In general, it is a 90 degree, rubber elbow that you can see coming out of the firewall behind and below the right cylinder head.
You can probably reach it easiest from beneath the car. you just have to remove the elbow, and clean it out. If yours is one of the years that has just a slit in the outlet instead of the full diameter drain, you might want to trim it off, so the outlet is not restricted. I have a 2004 model, and the design has been changed to eliminate the reduced diameter outlet.
Here is the crimped end. (recommend cutting the crimp part off)
The flashlight beam is highlighting the area where the 90 deg elbo attaches to the drain line. If you have headers, it is best reached from the top side!!!!
Thank you Bill C. My 2000 also has a clogged ac drain tube and I have been going nuts trying to find the tube to unclog it. Your pictures are a great help and I am ready to solve this problem. By the way, the excess water from the clogged system came out throught the rubber cooling tube right into my blower motor filling it up ALL THE WAY! I wish GM could get there s together.
Thanks again Bill!

Thank you all for the help unclogging my ac drain!!
My 2000 coupe did the same thing and some water got on the expensive computer module. To prevent the water from getting on the computer if this ever happens again I drilled some small holes in the black plastic cover bulge that is at the bottom of the blower motor. [This is located on the passenger side foot area where your toes point] The water comes into the blower motor via the black rubber tube meant to cool the motor. The water then falls out of the blower motor and travels forward and falls right onto the passenger side foot rest area where the computer module is located.
So drilling holes into the bulge just under the blower motor will allow the water to fall harmlessly onto the floor if it ever clogs again and not into the computer module.
Thanks again for all the help, this forum has helped me so much with all the little [too many] quirks the corvette has.
