TPM Sensor compatibility
I'm looking at a set of wheels/tires from an '01 C5 and the TPM sensors are included. Will these sensors work on a 99, or will I need to swap my sensors into those wheels?

The pressure sensors changed in '01, so the campatability is '97-'00 and '01-'04. Old ones won't work with newer cars, and new ones won't work with older cars. You have older car and looking at newer sensors. If you really like the tires/wheels, you could swap your existing sensors into the new wheel set-up and sell the newer sensors. (The old sensors WILL fit newer stock OE rims).

Thanks for the info. The wheels are chrome skinny spokes with EMTs, complete with the sensors. Any idea if there are places that might take a partial trade? I'd rather not bust the tires off the wagon wheels that I currently have just to swap the sensors over, but it looks like I'll have to do that to the new ones if I buy them.
