I've read about how the C5 sometimes won't start but you can take the Key out and back in a few times and all is good..........
I think I might have experienced this yesterday. I put my key in tried to start and nothing. Then I took it out and put it back in and the car started fine. The only thing that was weird was that my Fob had to be reprogrammed afterward. I've already cleaned all of my grounds so I am assuming I need to clean the ignition out a little. What is the best way of doing this?

Clean the contacts on the resistor pellet imbedded in the key itself. Usually that is enough to solve the problem. I just used alcohol. I also saw a clean pencil eraser used.
Hey bro, what I did is go to the store, get some electrical contact spray, spray inside the cylinder, put the key in and out a bunch of times, repeat 3-4 times wipe off key.problem solved.hope that helps a little.

Yeah that is what I was thinking I was going to try. Do you think that is what could have caused the weird computer problems I have experienced?? Reduced engine power and so on?
