Wait. The flywheel should spin when you turn the crank. If you have an M6 maybe your PP isn't on the flywheel. I HOPE it's not the torque tube. But you can see that stuff through the inspection cover without having to take anything off. Also, something really stupid... Is your emergency brake on?

No..

Damn dude, you are having some bad luck..

But I would go over the simple stuff again before you dooms-day your project..

Are you sure the car is really in gear? Issue w/ the linkage?

Also, I can tell you from what I've heard folks are putting the cars in 5th or 6th gear (not 1st) and still they have to have a second person standing on the brakes to keep the car from driving off the jack stands..

I don't know if this applies to your situation, i.e. if you are at the "Tq to 200+ lbs" point in the install yet.

If you are sure the clutch and the trans are o.k., maybe there is something going on in the tube.. But you really can't tell what it looks like without pulling the trans again.

And are you sure the crank is really spinning, and not something going on with the dampner?

Good luck, we are rooting for you!
