Try the following

Sensor Learning Procedure:

With the wheels mounted and the car on the ground:

Turn ignition to ON position.

Press the DIC RESET button to clear any warning messages.

Press the DIC OPTIONS button until the display goes blank.

Press and hold the DIC RESET button for 3 seconds.

Press the DIC OPTIONS button again until the "TIRE TRAINING" message appears.

Press the DIC RESET button until the message, "LEARN L FRONT TIRE" appears.

Hold the magnet(s) over the pressure sensor’s location on the LEFT FRONT wheel (this should be next to the valve stem sides if installed correctly).

When the horn honks, programming is complete for that wheel.
Program the other 3 wheel sensors as directed by the message display. The sequence is as follows: Left Front, Right Front, Right Rear, Left Rear.

For more information, refer to the Corvette Service Manual, page 3-114: Low Tire Pressure Sensing—TPM Sensor Programming.

Part Numbers: For '97-00 you'll need four each of the following: sensor numbers: sensor with O-ring PN 25731358; and retaining nut PN PN 10438853, retaining nut PN 10268439, and O-ring washer PN 10268438. These are the same for all four wheels.

In 2001, GM went to an FM bandwidth sensor, with the following part 25708165.

Hope this help.
Note: you will need a strong magnet.

Good Luck

ROD BROWN,

Stop by one of these days and I will do it for you in a couple of minutes either with the Tech II or through the DIC.
