Default Help with vucuum lines

I also have had the battery leak and have also lost the duct vent control. I have read else where here that the Vac line is located in one of the wiring harnesses. I have open up all the harnesses around the battery box and cannot identifie the vac line. Can you all be more specific as to where the line is located? Is the vac line located in a harness where you go in through the access panel? A clearer explanation would me most appreciated, sorry for being such a dummy

Big thanks

Thanks for the info, it did get me to where I needed to be, unfortunately now I have a bigger problem because this turn out not to be an easy fix. I did find the vacuum line but as I pulled it out it just continued to break in to pieces, I chased it all the way back until it ended up behind the engine. No way that I can tell to do anything more with it now, any suggestions….yea I know, take it to someone you knows what they are doing.

Kind of makes me mad, GM put in a piece of crap battery and I’m left with the bill.
Anyway thanks for all the help, the knowledge here is amazing.
