Default Posessed mirror

Every time I get in the car and start up the drivers side mirror "adjusts" itself to a random location. I reposition the mirror, press and hold the #1 memory button to reset the position. I use the key fob to unlock the door. Haven't tried it with just the key. Any ideas?
Its a 99 MN6.

I have the same problem every once in a while. It really gets on your nerves huh? I've set both my memory to my settings. it seems like I push the memory button then the mirror starts looking at the curb. Maybe it would be ok if I was parking, but not while I'm about to drive. I'm not sure what I did, but I think I kept setting the mirror memory and eventually it went away, but it does come back every once in a while.
