Wind noise on driver's side window...
I told someone I would look at my service manual for this procedure then got busy, I can't remember who it was, anyway you might try this
from my 98 service manual (prelime). Curious are you having any water leaks into the car like when washing. Mine has a little wind noise noticable but not real bad. I took a little bit of foam weather strip from home depot and put a little in the fold of the door/window weather strip to push it out a little, took care of it.
Position window fully up
Remove the large access plug from under the front of the door
Loosen the window regulator front channl mounting nut.
remove the reflector from the trim panel
loosen the jack screw jam nut
Adjust tip in with the jack screw
turn the jack screw clockwise to tip the window outward
turn counterclock wise to tip inward
One turn of screw equals approx. 1 N-m (.04in) change at the top
of the window
Tighten the jack scew jam nut
Lower the window
Tighten the window regulator channel front mounting nut.
Raise the window and check alignment
Install plug under the front of the door.
Install the reflector.
Good luck
I had this prob and found it to be that the seather stripping did not go "exactly" where it was supposed to after I reinstalled the top.
Big difference when I figure it out!
Hope that's it for you too.

Had to put the top back on 'cause it was raining...as soon as I drove it I heard wind noise above my head...not heard that before. When I got back to the garage I removed the top and saw the wx stripping at the corner, where it turns down from the top to the side, had torn, and was not seating properly with the top. Some super glue and all is well.Never would have heard the wind noise before the sound proofing mod
If your noise is coming near the front, this might help.
