Fixed the auto climate control
For the last several weeks I have had to turn the temperature way up on the auto function just to get comfortable. This malfunction coincided with the installation of a CLB. Well today I decided to troublshoot the problem. First I got out the service manual and after reading through alot of technical stuff, I came across a paragraph that said in capital letters that it was very important that the inside temperature sensor (that's the one you disconnect when installing the CLB, alongside the ignition switch) must be aligned and inside the the air temperature sensor aspirator duct. I took apart the knee pad again and found that I had somehow jammed the rear foam on the sensor to the side of the duct and not inside. I readjusted everything and made sure it was properly positioned, and then reinstalled the knee pad. Checked the climate control and now it works as advertised. Where I had set it at 80F before, 73-74F works just fine.
