Performance Shops in my area?
Hey everyone, I live about 10minutes south of Chicago and was wondering if there are any good vette shops around here, I have used D&M and was not satisfied with how they treated me, why? Because they quoted me 4500$ to install headers and cat back, LOL...Anyway, if you know of any good places around here please let me know, because I am in the process of getting my dream twin turbos for my 04Z

Places in the Burbs
About two years ago there were some guys in Elk Grove -
Called "THE PERFORMANCE CENTER."
Treated me very well - not sure if they are still around.
Then there is a guy up in Libertyville that does Superchargers etc...
Cannot remember his name - wish I could - I want to install one in my 98'.
Anyway- I hate D&M as well. They treated me like I was a moron - weather it's true or not - I am still the customer with the mula to spend.
BTW- My dad won;t go back to D&M for the same reason - they treated him like crap as well. They wanted $ 1400 to install Corsa on his 02' last summer. He told them to get bent and left. I warned him prior to stopping in.
Anyway -

you have some good options. FLP is in Naperville, and have a great reputation. Speed Inc. is in Schaumburg, I have used them, and as a matter of fact am dropping my car of there next week for some more work. Call speed inc and ask for larry, he is the Vette guy there. Hope that helps.

I use Power House Performance in Orland Park and have never had a problem. A couple other forum members bring their cars there as well. Good prices and they will even let you help if you want =)

Thanks a ton Mdavis as i live in Orland too, I called them and already have an appointment for a nice cam and intake package the last week of april and I already orderd my tires from them which will be here this week, which are 315-30-18's for the rear......Thanks for the recomendation, and I told them I heard of them from our board......

I think I waved to you yesterday afternoon. I was driving a Millenium Yellow vert on 159th St.
License plate is WRKD 4 if you ever see me =)
