I have been able to find quite a few good write ups on mods but is there one for a fuel pump install, I've changed f-body fuel pumps before so I think its probably similar but what about placement and removal of the tank if needed and any other specifics I need to watch out for?.....

I have done a bunch of fuel pumps on a number of cars. Vettes I like cuz there small and simple. Easyer than any late model F-Body.
In my years as a Vette tech. I always pull the whole tank. Andy @ A&AVette www.aandavette.com says to just drain out the tank and leave it in the car. His directions are on his site under the Racetronix pump part. Its realy if you got a lift or not. If you do that raise that puppy up and dont for get your big cross over tube from one tank to the next. There is also a couple of vent tubes. One above the cross over tube and one at the filler neck hose. (you need to pull the whell and the inner fender splash guard. On the other hand, if you dont have a lift, then Andy's way is the best. He has all the directions you will need eather way when you get the module out to get the pump out of it. Good luck.
