Default sooo many problems

my fuel gauge randomly goes dead. Through 1 tank of gas it will go dead atleast 3 times and after it goes dead the warning light will come on saying low fuel and will periodically come up again and again with the notification.

My check engine light will periodically turn on, especially after hard acceleration.

The service engine soon message does the same.

My driver's side taillights randomly work (turn signals, brake, hazards, all out).

Fog lights don't work.

Did the seat (sliding from front to back) fix, but the seats still rock, not slide, under acc/dec.

Transmission leaks and sometimes I can't shift into 1st gear. I have to rev high and shift from second at a dead stop.

Any ideas?

Congratulations, and welcome to the Corvette Forum.

These are all very common problems, and you will find much useful information here.

One of the features of the forum is the "Search" function, which you can access by clicking on "Search" in the menu bar above.

There is also an "Advanced Search" sub menu, which will allow you to filter the results.

If there are any items that are not covered, please let us know.

All the best.

I had the same fuel guage problem on my 2001 Z06. It turned out to be the sender and was fixed under warranty. Even if your car is out of warranty I would still try to get the dealer to fix it for no charge because this was such a common problem for C-5 Corvettes. G.M. will sometimes do this to retain good customer relations. -Bob
