Default computer removal

The first thing is always disconnect the negative battery cable.
Jack up the right side of the car and remove the right front whell.
Remove the inner splash shield (inner fender trim). thats a few 7mm head screws and eather a plastic push in clip or a 10mm head screw. This is where it gets a little tight. The first little box you see is the TAC Module (gas pedel computer) It mounts to the PCM mount. The screws that are a little farther back to hold the TAC on are a little tuff to get to but a 1/4 inch ratchet and a 7mm socket is ok. Then use the 7mm socket to remove the two plugs (wire connectors) from the PCM and your off and running. As soon as you get the inner liner off you will see that its all right in front of you and no big deal.
