well TCS is Traction control system...other one is A/C....did you reset them and they come back??
Yes, I reset them, and they both came back. The other post is what prompted this one, since it doesn't cover that particular code for the TCS... I'm getting the same messages, just a different code...
Do you know if "open" means the circuit is open, i.e. not functioning?

Man....I am not that well versed...get with Bill Curlee..he is the forum electrical guru...
I would venture to say "yes"....but like I said...Patches also may have some input
I went and looked in my service manual...it describes the problem as an "open or short to ground" possible corrosion etc...loose connection with the module...
Thanks, I'll see if I can find a loose connection... Maybe when I put the aluminum gauge trim rings in, I didn't fully seat the button, and it took a little while to work loose...
can't speek to the codes but in electrical talk OPEN means that there is no electrial connection to the device that the computer can find. Or in other words there is a short to ground preventing the conneciton or the wire that it wants to use is not connected " open " hope this helps.
