Yup. Actually it is not the switch per se, but rather the flasher for both the turn signal and the hazard lights. There are a couple of How-To's for doing a HUD install and the directions for removing the dashpad are very helpful. Once the dashpad is off, getting to the switch assembly is pretty easy.
JeepTJ: I know of no way to get to this from behind the radio. I explored this myself and no go.
I need to replace mine to just have not got around to it yet. got the part just need the motivation. The dash does not need to be removed. here is the forum link to DIY.
