Sorry, I originally posted this in the general forum, meant to put it here:
Hey guys, I'm installing my Baer eradispeed's tonight along with Z06 calipers! Any suggestions to the install that might make it easier? I thought I read a while back about the rear rotors being hard to get off becuase they get stuck, but I'm probably wrong, so anyways... Anything will help!
The rears are often a bit difficult to remove. I would not set the ebrake on the car before you start the installation. That makes it easier to remove the rear rotors. Also make sure you have the rotors going to the correct direction. Alot of people put them on backwards....I did..lol.
Have you ever removed your caliper bracket before? If not it will be difficult to get the bolts out. I'd have a bar handy or an impact wrench if you happen to have one... (I just got one...talk about nice)

Did mine this winter, as long as you can get the caliper bolts off you shouldn't have a problem.

I just put some QS pads and Sportbrake drilled and slotted rotors on my vert last Sunday. DON'T set the parking brake as stated above. I have done a few of these. The front rotors come off with little effort. The rears can be tight. I usually take a block of wood and a big hammer and give them a few pops to unseat them. Now is a perfect time to adjust your parking brake. Most c5's come from the factory with poorly set parking brakes. There is a "star" adjuster that spins, it moves the parking brake pads up or down. Just take the play out to adjust. I also put anti sieze on the lugnut threads and around the hub where the rotor sits. Just my .02.
