Rearview mirror swap.
my buddy gave me his old electrochromic inside rearview mirror after he installed the one with homelink on it.
I have a 01 coupe, only has 2 lights (does not dim) but the plug is only a 2 wire plug. the one he gave me requires a larger plug. what gives?
where do I get adapter? New plug?
I searched thru the tech how-to section, no luck.
please help, blind from all the suv's.............

On my 2000 the original connector had 4 wires - two orange, a black and a brown. The instructions are for a car with 4 wires. You can get the new connector from Fred Beans for 30 something dollars.
