headers or supercharger.
ok.within the week i'm either getting headers or a supercharger for the 01!i've heard about the loss of h.p. with some header setups.why is that and what do i need to do to prevent that should i go the header route.thanks.

Loss of power? Not sure on that one. As for the headers or supercharger, there is no comparison as to the power gain. With a supercharger though, make sure your budget can handle the future driveline strengthening that will ultimately be required.

I picked up 30 rwhp with headers and a better intake and a tune (some report picking up ~40) - noticeable seat of the pants improvement, but certainly not overwhelming. Picked up torque and hp all across the rpm band.
An intercooled Magnuson s/c and a professional installation and tune boosted the power by 135 rwhp and resulted in a flat, fat torque curve - huge s.o.t.p. difference.
Headers and supercharging go well together, so moving forward with headers first won't hurt anything. Good luck.
