Security light stays on?

Security light stays on?

I have been noticing that the security light on the dash stays on. One time I pulled over and turned off the car and waited a minute and after restart the light went off. Today when I took off the light stayed on the whole time. I pulled a code B2723 out of History. Any thoughts?

From your handle it appears you may have a '97, like me, with a similar problem......Engineered obsolecense???? PM me if you find an answer and I'll do the same.
