Take the door off passenger side floor where BCM is.
Dead ended and taped off are 3 wires, a ground, a spare switched and a spare unswitched. Colors are black, yellow and pink.
They are taped off by the wire loom on upper left side.

These are not used and this way you now have a fuse just for the NOS and not splicing into another circuit that later on might cause weird problems.

see picture above.
The orange (might be pink, my eyes are shot) and black wires are not used and appear to have been taped off. The yellow wire is connected, although poorly, to my deck. (Needless to say, i've got a better connection than the installer did on my DVD player). Are these the 3 wires you're refering to?

The wires circled in blue appear to go to the same harness as the previously mentioned wires. The green wire (circled in red as well) is going to my deck.

am I looking in the wrong area by a few inches? This wire does appear more orange than pink...

Yes that is it.
You can use a volt meter and measure between that black ground wire and the two wires and confirm which is switched and which is on all the time
Fix that cheap splice I see in that image

already did. lets just say i wasn't happy about that...

Hopefully the orange wired is the switched one as the yellow one is already used. Perhaps I could use the yellow one for two devices (DVD player and N2O).
